Like most fathers, parenting to me was providing for the children’s needs, keeping them within boundaries and once a while buying them some gifts. Through Growing Families International courses, I have come to understand that as stewards of God’s special gifts, parenting is a discipling relationship, bringing them from innocence and foolishness to maturity and wisdom.
